Ben Elkins - Assistant Operator

Jennifer Steber  -  Clerk

Collectively, our staff has over 46 years of experience in treatment plant and collection system operations.

Dave Alberts has been in the wastewater industry for over 24 years.  In 2019, he became the District's Operations Manager as Joe Burress phased into retirement after 37+ years of service (thank you Joe!).  Dave is no stranger to operations management, which made for a smooth transition.

Patrick Johnson has over 21 years of experience in the wastewater industry.  In addition to daily plant and collection system operations, he is the Lead Lab Technician.

Ben Elkins is the newest addition to the team and has recently acquired several of the required certifications within his first year in the industry.

These gentlemen do a fantastic job of meeting the DNR requirements for returning clean water back to the Bay of Green Bay and keeping our watershed safe.

The District is in good hands!

About FCSD #1

The Town of Gibraltar created the Fish Creek Sanitary District to enable the effective treatment of wastewater within the unincorporated village of Fish Creek and the more densely populated areas of the town. The Fish Creek Sanitary District commenced operations in 1984 after construction of the core section of the wastewater collection system and a basic treatment plant. The treatment plant was upgraded in 1990 as the population continued to grow and the wastewater collection system expanded.
